how to rock a cute printed dress

+ Our first “How to Rock” article comes from Kasey. Enjoy!

We’ve all got a [printed dress] that we hang onto for spring and summer, right? Well, bring out that cute dress and rock it, because you can make your favorite printed dress work all year round! By interchanging just a few accessories and basics, you can give your favorite dress a new life.

+FALL & WINTER
To work this [dress] in the winter, you’ll have to layer up! But that’s no matter, because you’ll look super cute if you layer a soft [long-sleeved T] and [Leggings] underneath. Throw one of the great winter 2010 trends, a [Leather Bomber Jacket], and slip on your favorite [Converse], and you’ll be ready to hit the town! Pair this outfit with a comfy scarf for an even cozier feel.

+SPRING & SUMMER
For summer, this [dress] can definitely shine as the focal point of your outfit! I suggest pairing the dress with a light [Linen Scarf], [Leather Sandals], and a cute [Headband], to add a polished look. When it gets chilly after the sun goes down, don’t be afraid to pull on a light-colored [Cardigan].

+ FOR DRESS-UP
Don’t forget that it’s easy to make a casual piece look much more dressy than it really is. To make this [dress] fancy-dinner ready, I would add a [Boyfriend Blazer], a great pair of gray [Tights] (or any other darker color), some [Patent Heels], and a [Statement Necklace]. Printed dresses are already busy on their own, so don’t overdo your accessories. Let the dress be the focal point of the outfit. It’s tempting to add your favorite bracelets, earrings, necklaces, etc., but they would overwhelm a printed dress. Just pick one of these items and it will be plenty.
